About Parents 4 Change Middlesbrough
We are Grandparents/Carers, Parents/Carers, Siblings/Carers, Foster Parents/Carers and Adoptive Parents/Carers of children with diagnosed and undiagnosed disabilities in Middlesbrough.
We are developing ways to include families in the process of influencing change in children's disability services in Middlesbrough. To ensure that any changes being made to children's disability service are meaningful in Middlesbrough.
We do this currently with all our Steering Group meetings, information workshops, send reform meetings and also with our conference, information days, coffee mornings and newly our premises in Langridge Initiative Centre.
We work in partnership with 'Contact A Family' regional manager and their regional information officer who together care for the North East and Cumbria.
In addition to this we work in co-production with our local authority Middlesbrough as well as social care, health.
All of the group consist of volunteers who continue to develop and operate Parents 4 Change.
All of the progress of the group is achieved with the support and guidance from professionals who work with children with disabilities in Middlesbrough.
